in scootering the SIP advert shows a street racer style scoot (blue and silver one) it has a wide rear wheel kit.
i would like one of these, but is it just a new rim for a wider tire, or are modifications needed to fit it? if so what?
what size tire does it move it up to?

If you want the wheel to sit central you have to cut 2cm off the swingarm flywheel side of the engine then fit the 2cm alloy spacer from the wide wheel kit to the other side of the swingarm . This will slide the engine over so that the wheel now sits in the middle very nice[:dance3:] [:roll:] [:drink:]
The rims are half standered rim half cosa rim,and you have to cut the engine
If you want to fit a wider tyre then this can be done using the SIP ring kits. just order the whole thing from SIP (wheel tyre and ring kit) and they will assemble the thing for you, you just pop it on.
(It does put the centre line of the wheel further over to the left though)
