Wide Tire kit, swingarm and shocks

Hi there!

Sorry I do not write german, hope somebody can help.

I am planning to mount a wide tire kit (2k) from Sip with 130/70/10 tire for my P200E. Now I understand that with this kit you need to cut 10mm off the swingarm and add a spacer of 10mm on the other side. I have read on a few forums that to have the rear wheel exactly in the center you actually need to cut off 17mm and add that to the other side. Can anybody confirm this?
Does anybody know if my bitubo in the back is still going to work OK if it is not haging strait anymore? will it brake at certain point?

If I move my engine out 17mm will I still be able to put my engine cover on?

On the front will a 110/70/10 fit without modifications? Can I use the standard Rim (2.50/10)?

Thanks!

Hi Mari, thank you for the reply! Did you also make another hole for the top side of your bitubo (under the tank) 10mm to the right? Or did you leave it in the original hole?

Thanks,
Rino

that´s the problem. the engine comes too much on the right side! the cover will contact the engine.

it´s ok to cut 10mm off the swing arm, that´s enough. my wheel is in the middle.

don´t worry about the bitubo. it´s the best shock for wide tires, because it´s not so wide. it will not break.

on the front i use a 100/80-10 on an original rim, for wider wheels use two big PX rim parts.
