What parts for a V90 series 1 (1965)?

Hi

I'm considering this exhaust for my V90.  I've up'ed the carb to the 19, but still have the standard exhaust.  Will this one ( 24214000 ) work on the early V90 engine?  Will it improve performance or just the looks?

Also I need new piston rings.  Will these (77775300) fit the original piston or do i need to order a new piston (65500000) ?

Yes these will all fit the 1965 V90, just ensure you accuratly measure the piston for the correct size and check the piston to bore clearance, the repair manual should give you the tolerance.

What is the condition of the cylinder bore, might need a mild hone.
