I ordered a vespatronic ignition system for my 1968 Vespa 150 Sprint, received it and install it.
I followed the given instructions and within hour or so the bike was running, but no lights. I then revisited the instructions and noticed that the Vespatronic instructions required that you cut the bridge section on the light switch.
IS THAT CORRECT?
After cutting the bridge, the horn worked fine but still no lights. I then opened the Sprints wiring diagram and noticed that the Vespatronic wiring diagram didn't show where to connect the 2 lighting circuits of the Sprint to the new Vespatronic system. After a little research I picked up that both the Sprints lighting circuits needed to be connected to the new Vespatronics regulator @ the pin 3 connection. After doing that I still have no lights. When I press the rear break all lights switch on for a while then off again.
AM I MISSING SOMETHING?
Other than that the bike is running well, its like it has a new breath of life.
COULD I HAVE A BAD EARTH?
