Vespa T5 30mm PHBH Jetting

Hi i am looking for some advice in jetting. I have T5 with a malossi 172 kit a SIP performance exhaust (tourqe version). The top end has been ported and the casings matched. I have fitted a mallosi reedvalve kit and a dellorto 30mm PHBH carb. I am looking for what jet sizes I should be using If anyone can advise.

Sorry but I can´t help you about this matter.
I have fitted a 172 kit in my T5, but no porting work yet.
How hard is the job?.
I´m thinking about to do inlet and crank modification but the drawing in the manual is not so clear and I´ve dudes understanding some dimensions. Some dudes about reed or standard inlet, anyway be lucky about your carb setting.

Try this. It will be a bit rich low down but thats not always a bad thing. Dont mess with the transfers as said just a little around tha boost port.

130-132 main jet (with filter)
av264 atomiser
x2 needle start1 clip up but you’ll probably end up top clip
40 slide have used 50 before
50 or 55 pilot

Let us know how you get on with the sip pipe as all the ones I’ve fitted are peaky as hell.

match your caseings with your base gasket.BUT GO EASY ON THE DREMMEL TOO MUCH AND THEY ARE BUGGERED

sorry vt5 i didnt read your question correctly the man to ask about porting is THE VESPA DOCTOR (if he is still about) BEERACES other half ,lol.i havent bin on here in ages.he IS the man for porting mods!!!!!!!!! [[:O]]
