I have a Vespa with a Pinasco 215, when I go to kick it over it some times kicks back, is the ignition to advanced or retarded?

yeah, break your ankle time!
mine does the same, but i think they all do because the kit has such high compression, its not the timing,
this also makes the head issue a bit confusing!
