Typhoon forks in a P2

Does anyone know if it would be an easy job to fit piaggio typhoon forks into a vespa P2.?
any help would be appreciated[:dance1:]

Just put peugeot trekker forks in mine, bit of bodgeing but fits!
I think it’s the typhoon forks sip use,you have to give clearence for the forks to turn without touching the frame, fine for a cutdown but harder on a fullframe, also make sure they are 10inch wheels to give the right hieght, sorry but crap at explaining,if u want help just ask!
£10 so far!!![;)]

Thier is a set on ebay for £16,was £10 just get a lower profile tyre,or just buy the SIP steering colum and get your own wheel, disc, claipher and fork tubes, might save on cost
good luck anyway!

Thanks guys. I think i might go for the sip ready made options.
Thats after i pay out for everything else i need to do on scoot

have a mate who has done this. upside down fork set up. will get intouch with him and ask him to post u some info. btw, from wat he has described to me u have to lenghthen them slightly ,too technical for me but he has done and it looks sweet[H]

Hi mate
Fitted et2 forks in my p.k. the bottom race on the et2 forks is the same but the top one is bigger so we used the top of the steerer tube of the p.k. and the bottom of the et2 forks with a sleeve inside the two parts and profesionaly tig welded together, fits like new but now i have disc brake, alloy front wheel and metric tyre, bit fiddly fitting a mud guard but not impossible.
I know this isnt what you asked but i thought it might help?
