Tubeless

How come nobody have made a tubeless rim for the vespa’s? Is there any specific reason why that couldn’t be done?

Not really since tube type tire go flat in an instant when it gets punctured unlike with tubeless tires as long as its rotating even if its punctured it wont go flat that instant it will still be able to bring you to your destination and another thing is with a vespa once the rear tire goes flat there is no way you can really run it…Its like it has a life of its own

Mainly the split rim, there are split rims that will take tubeless tyres(for cars) but it is pretty expensive to make them like that & if you use tubeless tyres & put tubes in them anyway you have a bit of added security.
