Just busy with installing a 0-60 km/h speedometer on a Vespa 50R:

Looks very good! But when installing, I am not able to lower the speedometer far enough into the hole in the steeringhead. When lowering, it struggles with the front-brake cable, which is coming out of the steering column, same as the speedometer cable. The speedometer almost touches the plastic cable-holder when lowered down. So the front-brake cable can not pass at the same place, or should bend in an impossible way. How to deal with this?
