Smallframe switches

Horn switch on my Primmy is broken, so I need a new switch unit, (Art.-no. 60092000)

My question - Is there a difference between these switches for a 6v / 12v ac / dc engine?

I am needing one for 12v AC

Any help is appreciated.

Cheers

Jim

Ring beedspeed - 12 volt converted smallframes need a „vespa rally“ light switch, they sell both ac & dc versions. Speak to allan, if you get no joy with any of the younger lads- he’ll put you on the right track. they cost about 18 quid. Wire your pilot light feed directly into the main headlamp feed if it doesn’t work independantly. The Mot station will have to be real sticklers to fail you on a pilot ligh being on with the main.

Cheers, found out it was the switch, after buying a new horn… c’est la vie…

Pilot light, what’s that? Like a sidelight? Parking light? (which obviously won’t work on an ac engine…)

How should it be? the on/off switch does just that, wheras the dip/main switch has 3 positions - left dip, right main, middle what looks like both.
