hello,
using the right jet is indespensable for your engine.
If it is too small the mix will be lean and you risk to size.
When the main jet is right the engine will run fuller and better.
An easy way, too see if you are running lean, is to pull out the choke when your engine rev high, be carefull not more then few seconds because you could risk to size if main jet is too small.
Pull out a little and then half and then all out.
If the engine get fuller means that you have to change your main jet with a bigger one. If It start to suffocate and loose ppm means that is ok.
This will be an indication.

you should have a 110 main jet, try a 114. Then see what you get, if it is better or not.

Thanks for reply, I ride a bog standard T5 classic, when I fitted Sito plus it seemed to be a hell of a lot faster through the gears & louder. Shoud I keep to standard jetting ???

sito is basicly a standard exhaust no need to really upjet but up 1 maybe 2 sizes, no way jump up to a 114!! that main would power a kit and expansion pipe!!

a Sito plus will give you a little more power torque and noise than the original.
It is not like a good expansion but it has its advantages.
WIth a good expansion definetely you get more power, but it is not as wide spred as the original or the Sito plus, means that more power comes at high rpm. For example if with a Sito plus you get 6HP at 3500rpm with a good expansion at that rev you will get less, but the higher you go the more power you get of course untill a limit.
Sito plus is a cheap good exhaust for engine that are not very tuned, using your scooter mainly for city, and for kit that don’t like to rev high as the DR177 for PX.
It would be of help to know your engine spec.
