rust rim vespa

I am mad about rust on my vespa rims
What’s the solution:

  • chrom rims and which ones ( cheapest ones or stamped ones)
  • aluminum rims

Buy some ordinary rims…give em a good rub down with fine sandpaper, spray em with undercoat then paint em with Hammerite smooth silver…last forever and never go rusty.

most chrome rims available are cheap "industrial"chrome coated which last for 10 mins or 10 miles whichever comes yerself some plain old painted ones and then get them chromed by a good chromer such as carl russel (gb) works out dear but if you want quality you gotta pay for it

I like the aluminum rims the best, the ones with no center discs but a bit hard to find[]
