I have a 1980 P200 with a HRS Alpha kit, 222 Hotwing exhaust, and I have recently converted to a VespaTronic ignition system. My SIP RevCounter now is only indicating 4000rpm at full throttle and I know the engine is turning between 7000 and 8000rpm which is what the RevCounter indicated prior to the Vespatronic kit. Is there a different pulse on the Vespatronic that is creating this low reading? If this is the case does anyone have a fix to make the Revcounter indicated properly.
Thanks,
