I am trying to change a couple of worn wheel studs. Having got one out, with great difficulty, I am not confident about getting the new ones in without damaging the thread.
Is there a tool, method, or knack for installing these?

Brian, I just did all 5 of my front hub studs, just drill the back out to break the crimpping and use vise grips and screw them out. I then replaced them with actual bolts and red loctite. work great and the new bolts are stronger than the old studs good luck...
