I have a pinasco 215 kit on the way and am thinking about changing the exhaust. Currently I have an 18month old Sito+, I run a 122 main in the standard carby with the hole drilled out above the jet, timing is 23degs.
Just wondering if there is any advantage in getting a Pinasco pipe over say a tuned scooterRS. Are they designed to work in unison or am I better off with the RS?
From what I can find out, the Pinasco is really intended to be set up with a long stroke crank from the start. As I will not be splitting the cases for another year, is it worth getting the Worb5 head designed for the Pinasco or am I better off ***ing the money away on Saturday night?
Cheers
Richard
Yeah,the 1.5mm packer plate.
You won’t need to run that on the standard crank though, store it for future use if you’re getting a 60mm crank.
Pinasco pipes are truely rubbish but I’d just add a Simonini unless you can afford a more expensive system like a JL,Beerace,PM etc.
If you mean this ,then I’d buy it along with the packer if you intend to go with a 'stroker at a later date.
Thanks for the info on the pipes, JuanK

Yes, that’s the one. When you say packing, I was going to order a 1.5mm Alum base gasket. Is that what you refer to, or a is it a head gasket?
If I use a base gasket, do I also need the head as well?
Thanks
