hi all, my pk50xl has a small oil leak,oil is dripping off the gear selector,only a small amount but its getting on the back wheel, what can it be and how do i fix it??? please help if you can thanks.
thanks for that,engine is clean and can clearly see selector, it seems to be dripping from the pin in the center that the selector pivots on? its not a hugh amount of oil but i suspect as the engine warms up the oil will thin and the leak will get worse.
First, try degreasing your engine. This would help you identify where the leak starts. If you suspect the gear selector, maybe the bolts are just loose, try tightening it. Also check the „oil filler“ hole screw, maybe its loose too and its gasket is busted.
