New Carb for 1963 GS160... DELLORTO VHST 24 BS "Red Edition" compatible?

Hi!

I am looking for a replacement for the Dell'Ortho 27/23 carburetor for the 1963 GS160.

The DELLORTO VHST 24 BS "Red Edition" flat slide polished, metal housing Ø engine 36mm, Ø air filter 49 is listed as compatible on SIP.

Does anyone know if it is indeed a compatible replacement for the GS160's SI27/23 and what modification's will have to be made.

If it is not compatible, I'd appreciate if anyone can advise a replacement that is.

Hi dude

 

Basically the VHST could be the solution. The only thing you have to modify or build by your own is the manifold.
