I own a PK50S (V5X2T) and a PK50XL (V5X3T). The S does approximately 53 km/h and the XL 49 km/h.
The S carburetor (SHB16/10F) jet setup is 53(main)-50(starter)-38(slow running); The XL I did not investigate yet but I guess it's identical.
I've already searched among the smallframe section for getting more top speed without changing the cubic capacity without success.
My question is what are the possibility's to improve the top speed WITHOUT CHANGING CUBICS.
Both PK's are still basic setup. Except for the XL which cylinder is replaced by a DR50 cylinder kit.
My opinion the intake and exhaust (looks like an eggbox) needs to be replaced/modified and with a bigger main jet more top speed can by achieved.
Any suggestions are welcome!
