Longstroke cranckshaft

hello to everybody,

somebody can explain me how come if we use a longstroke crankshaft 60mm, is enough to put just a gasket of 1.5mm.
Is not a longstroke 3mm longer than standard stroke?

The centre of the big end pin is moved 1.5mm further away from the centre of the crank.

This means that the piston will be 1.5mm further up the bore at TDC and 1.5mm further down the bore at BDC, giving you a 3mm increase in stroke.

Hope this helps.
