Kubler racing conversion kit 278cc vs runner st200

Hello all and regards!

I've mounted on my runner 200cс kubler kit 278cc. But in case of short reworked crankshaft it is necessary to replace 200's leader engine with a primary fixed sheave of 125's engine (how says in preview for kubler kit). But i've moved another way. I've created from hard steel a brand new variator nut (it looks like a bolt with female thread) and now it is possible not to change primary fixed sheave. At the moment 1k kilometers covered and this new nut feels it self ok. So, the questions are :

1) what do you think about sorcery with a variator nut

2) which differences might be if to use primary fixed sheave of 125's in comparison with 200's pulley? Also could you please tell which parts includes in "primary fixed sheave"

Thank you!

hi Hayabusa,

i'm looking after the same kit that you set up... in your opinion, does the kit worth the money? is there really a big change in performance?

i saw that a modification is required in the oil case/baffle. can you tell me what modification is that? how complex is it? i'm not a mechanic, so i'm a little worried about buying it and not being able to set it up...

BTW, i believe that your solution for the pulley was great!

BR,
