I recently had my Kegra exhaust come off my bike. It looks like the mounting bolts vibrated loose and the silencer contacted with my tire tearing the whole shooting match off including my newly replaced exhaust stub (Malossi 210). Some guys have all the luck.
The exhaust sustained some damage from passing cars as it skidded down the road but the bulk of the damage is to the silencer, it has become somewhat flattened and I doubt that I can get it round again. The other damage is to the sleeve that the silencer is rivited to. It is also squashed slightly but I am hoping that I can make it round again. I believe the perforated tube is intact.
I was wondering if anyone has any suggestions as to a replacement? I’ve noticed that the SIP „EVO“ and Scorpion exhausts seem to have a similar set up at the silencer end. Does anyone know if these are viable replacements?
