Had word with Harry Barlow at wicksteed parts fair on sunday about 26mm carb on T5 with 172 Malossi kit and scorpion pipe told him i am running with 125 main jet he said to low he was surprised i had not siezed scooter he says i should use no lower than 130 possibley as high as 132 to 134 .when tafspeed tryed this in scootering they had to go up to 135 main what do you think thanks Gary ps 128 in at moment got 132 134 of brother waiting for 130 will try these

Hi rebuilt a T5 with 172 kit last september for a mate he runs it with a PM pipe 26mm carb and no air filter with only a 124 main jet and he’s had no problems and it’s done about 600 miles so far and the plug is a nice brown colour the timing is left at standard
