How can I wire this rear light up to my PX125E

Rear light "Antique" Vespa 125

/150, VNB6/GT/Sprint/GL/Super
180SS, metal
housing, without e-mark

Art.Nr. 56015000

I bought the rear light mentioned above but it came without any way to connect the PX wiring to it just the two bullet bulb holders with no connections and nothing else.  I does say that it fits a PX.  Can anyone help please as this would look great on my scooter.

You just need to modify the wiring off the bike to the lamp fella, the top bulbholder is your brake light and the lower is the tail/ numberplate lamp. Check your wiring colour codes off the Haynes manual wiring diagram or I think scooterhelp.com has them online

Wow fella thats very weird, it'll be case of modifying it then I guess.

Your 100% correct Hammer no contacts. Oh well I suppose it's all part of the fun, if everything was easy there would be no forums, cheers guys.[:^)]

Hi,

connect the blue wire to the brake light, the gray(or black /yellow) to the back light and the black to housing/ground.... thats it

regards

Thanks for the info  Hammer, the problem is theres no way to connect the wires to the bullet bulb holders there just 2 prongs to hold the bulb with no spades.  Also there's no insulation for the positive side to stop contact with the body. I'm thinking of fabing one out of an old light unit if i can find one, unless you can offer a better idea.  Thanks again.

The way I am reading this thread , the poor guy doesn't have any points to attach said wires to ??
