Hi ,
I’ve been thinking about changing the wheel nut studs ( 5 on each hub ) to hexagonal / Allen bolts. Because I think they’ll look cooler!
Has anybody done this? Is it safe to do? Will it affect the balance?
Any comments , let us know,please.

NOT SURE IF IT WILL WORK MATE, CHECK THE HEADS OF THE BOLTS DON’T HIT ON THE ENGINE OR FRONT BRAKE, FIT ONE TO A HUB THEN FIT IT TO THE RELEVANT END OF THE BIKE, THEN TRY TURNING THE WHEEL BY HAND TO SEE IF IT CLEARS OR TRYS GOUGING OFF YOUR CASES OR FRONT BRAKE CALIPER/HUB.

Good point!. My rear hub original studs have already been changed to normal bolts by a previous owner and the clearence is ok. The front end is set up with a standard brake drum etc. Not enough spare cash for a Grimeca ( sad ) . So, I’ll go slow and give it a try.
