I wanted to get some advice on rebuilding my PK50 engine I was thinking of going with the SIP malossi 112 kit complete with exhaust and carburetor, has anyone tried this? My other question is I see people talking about the gearing what is a good ratio for street riding? Any help would be
greatly appreciated. thanks
So what kind of help do you request?
Some person in your neighborhood helping you with the stuff... where are you from?
Otherwise there exist numerous manuals and How-to-do's... in this case you need to search Youtube or look if SIP offers a "Repair DVD"
Regarding the gearing... it is not possible to give you a proper answer because you did not tell us about your engine setup... yes, we understand, you like to have a Malossi 112.. but what carburator, which exhaust system.. propably a racing crankshaft. And don't forget that such parts have to be fitted together by a little milling/grinding job of the inlet opening and the cylinder ports.
You need an experienced person who also has the right equipment otherwise you mess it up.
It is obvious that you do not need to think about a Malossi 112 if you do not plan to rebuild the engine completely with the mentioned components.
