You’ll need to trim the plastic back where the bulb holder goes in or trim the frame (drastic) to suit. Failing that mount light on nice thick rubber lip as the bulb holder does sit proud of the base surface. I trimmed the bulb holder section of plastic back and aradited an ET3 bulb holder setup in the vacant area ( retained existing spade connectors etc.
Don’t forget a number plate light for the dark
lay some paper over the back of the new light and draw round it marking where the mounting holes are.cut out the shape and lay it on the back of the frame where you want it.mark and drill holes in the right place.brush some paint around drilled holes to stop it rusting.connect wires and bolt it on
