Hi there. My cosa clutch is stuck like glue onto the crank of my PX200. I have sprayed oil spray, wingled it with screw driver but it wont budge. If only it had threads like an old clutch does then I could use a puller! Is heat my only other option or is there some secret cure?
hi noisywasp and chaps, its been a while. This job takes me all over this planet, spain next then norway and malaiy. I have had the clutch stuck on problem as well. The only way to get it off was to open up the other crank case and tap the crank all the way thou.Or a home made pusher mounted on the clutch housing holes might help, a piece off metal with 3 little holes on the out side and a larger theaded hole in the middle to do the pushing should do it.
It is a common problem. Try putting some lever pressure around the edges whilst a helper taps the end of the crank. Obviously not too much force and protect the threads.
