I'm hoping you can help.
I'm an ex pat living in Thailand. I run a PX with Malossi sport 210, ported, Polini sport exhaust, with standard SI 24-24 carb. I've now up jetted to 160 main and still bogging at high rpm in 3rd & 4th, also some pinking. Fortunately, my mix seems about right on the plug colour. I realised this is a hugely oversized main and that I need to modify further. Some Thai pals suggest a 3mm float spacer, whilst others suggest swapping up to a 26 (Spaco 25 in reality here) carb. It definitely feels like a fuel prob. rather than gearing/timing. I realise it's difficult to give an exact diagnosis unseen, but would really appreciate your recommendation/advice. Regretfully, no dynos in Thailand.
