BIGGER ENGINE

HELLO I HAVE A 1964 VESPA VNB5T 125 AND I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW IF I
CAN FIT A 200CC. ENGINE IN IT WITHOUT HAVING TO MAKE ANY CHANGES.[:dance3:]

[:dance1:]
have you managed to swap the ngines yet, if you decided to go with the 10inch wheels i believe sprint forks are the way to go.

what i want to know is can you convert the 2 hundred to use the
original 8inch wheels.

No, is the short answer.

You can fit a 200 engine but it involves quite a bit of work. The most difficult part being getting some the forks to fit a 10" wheel. If you look down this board there are some tips on fitting 10" wheel to older vespas.

It is worth it though. Youll have a cool looking Vespa thats reliable and capable of at least 60 mph. If you want to know more just ask.

Okay, first off, smaller wheels are cooler, it just sucks that they slow the bike down. You could transfer the motor in and just leave the original front fork and wheel. Then youd sort of have a hunched over Rat-Fink inspired look, youd also have two different sizes of tires, which might get annoying. The only thing in that situation you`d have to change is the Centerstand. which is pretty darn easy.
