24mm carb and DR130

Hi all,

I've installed a 24mm Dellorto carb onto my smallframe which is:

 

130 DR kit

Transfers matched 

Inlet opened up to match manifold

24mm Dellorto carb with K&N cone filter

Mazzi cut crank

ET3 Banana exhaust

4 speed gears

ET3 cases

PK flywheel.

 

I'm currently on a 98 main jet & 45 idle jet. D22 needle 3rd clip from the top. standard atomizer??

 

Problem is it just doesn't go very well and won't stop revving when I stop at a stop light. Idling is also not very good. Any ideas what I should go for jetting wise?

Hi Dude

 

For first i recommend you a smaller main jet.

If you got a rotary valve system it should be 78-80.

If you got a reed valve it should be 88-90.

 

The other jets and the atomizer cam be the original.

 

Please notice that you have to adjust also the minimum gas and idle jet.

The idle jet should be srew in to the max and then screw back 3 times 180 degrees.

Then you should have a standard adjustment to run the enigne.
