i bought a 12v conversion loom ( part no 86134000) and it doesn't seem to have a power wire for the rear light, the only wires for the rear tailight are red ( brake switch) and Black ( earth/ground), i've looked on the pdf diagram and it doesn't show the wire, am i missing something? thanks Carl
I've figured it out, the designers in their wisdom have used black wire for ground/earth coming from the switch to the bulb holder and from the stator to the regulator, and a black wire as power from the switch to the back light, that's a very clever idea NOT, couldn't they of used a yellow wire instead, the Scooter-center loom is less hassle and you get a diagram and the switch with the loom.
